Blue Sea ELCI impending failure

Hi all,
My 2019 R-27 ELCI Main AC breaker (Blue Sea item 1502) has a weird problem.
When the ELCI breaker is fully pressed to the '1' position, I get a negative (red) polarity light and my AC shore input voltmeter goes to 0. At the same time, my house bank voltmeter drops to around 7VDC.
Now, if I LIGHTLY (about the pressure of two well-fed gnats flying headlong into it) press the ELCI breaker SLIGHTLY toward the '0' position, but without actually going to '0', it works as advertised. The polarity returns to normal (green), AC voltage returns, and the house bank meter shows normal voltage.

The ELCI has never tripped before, and I have never had occasion to turn it on / off. So, it's a 3 yo item, never 'used', and it is about to fail completely (pretty sure, anyway). Has this happened to anyone else? Is it possible to replace just the ELCI breaker (~$150) vs. the entire $334.xx panel?

I am impressed with Blue Sea!
I sent an email shortly after my post describing the problem.
I received a reply about 20 minutes later saying they were sorry for the problem, send a shipping address, and we will replace the unit.
I replied with my address and got another rapid reply with the Warranty Return number.

It may take a while to actually get the item. We're all familiar with the supply chain thing.
Anyway, problem solved!

I’ve never had an issue with any Blue Seas component. But I am impressed everytime I see their warranty info on their website or any of the manuals or other materials I’ve downloaded from them. Although a few things (like battery chargers) are covered by more limited warranties, for most products:

Blue Sea Systems stands behind its products for as long as you own them. Blue Sea Systems will replace or issue a credit for any of its products found to be defective in materials or manufacture.

And for those of us in the Pacific NW, it is a plus that they are a Bellingham, WA company.

So glad, JeffRad54, that your experience confirmed the company’s positive reputation.

Turning on/off the elci is part of my power up/down procedure. Glad they are replacing your unit.
