I have a r21ec, used to have a full cover, moved to a rear bimini. My complaint (really a whine ) is even with a full cover I had to check the bilge any time we had a few solid days of rain because so much rain entered the boat from the roof and the open sides the bilge would run alot and the batteries would run down. I put rainspouts under the rain channels on the roof to move some of it off the side rather than into the boat but it continues to be a challenge and a pain. I keep the boat in a covered slip now BUT that requires moving the mast to get in and out so I would like to get back to an open slip on the sailboat dock ( sailed most of my life. Whats an r21ec without the mast up - right. Bottom line is I am curious what others have done to keep the boat dry other tha full canvas. (side note - once the boat was in the covered slip I figured - problem solved!! it was but than I came to up after being away for a few weeks and found these little brown spots all over my white fiberglass, mud from mud daubers building nests underside of the roof. So different issue but needs the same solution. Aggravating but than I think "hey - you got a ranger so lighten up - alot of folks wish they did"
