I tried Command Hooks, but they didn't last so I screwed the hooks above the cabin door. Seasucker makes great products, but don't think they have a boat hook solution.

Ours snaps up into clips that are installed on the cockpit canvas tubing. Very easy access and out of the way.

I have a couple seasucker devices installed. One is a rod holder that I actually use for my squeegee and garbage bags and the other is for Fishing tools. If you pump the button a couple times occasionally that's all they require.These Seasucker products could be used:
