Boat slips when Loading (Ranger 25)

There could well be a general problem regarding the fit of EZLoader trailers to some models of Ranger Tugs. My boat is a 2012, model R27. After a couple of off/on boat/trailer operations I became aware that the forward bunks were badly out of adjustment. As a result the bunk carpet developed serious wearing (holes down to wood) and the gel coat near the bow developed scratches. My dealer, Port Boat House, spent considerable time adjusting and shimming the forward bunks, replacing all the bunk carpet and repairing the gel coat. The dealer stood 100% behind the need to make repairs. I believe EZLoader covered the entire cost of this work. It is my understanding that EZLoader has now made some changes to the trailer design for the model made to fit a R27. The bow to roller gap (slip) has dropped from up to 6 inches down to about 2 inches.

This is problem with the Float-On trailers too. The last time we put Gratitude on the trailer, I noticed two gouges in the black bottom paint. We also had about six inches between the bow and the roller. These are two of the best trailer companies in business today, and we all know about Ranger Tugs customer service, so I hope a fix is in the works.
