Preparing for your winter upgrade projects? Can't decide what you want to get done this off-season on your boat?

I redid the "upgrades" section on my website. The presentation is better now on both a computer and mobile device. I sorted all the upgrades alphabetically. I also went through all the write-up's I've done and updated them. The information is now more current.

I've never been much of a web developer and had to switch to dynamic pages instead of static pages. After spending 2 days working on this I really like how it came out. It's now way easier for me to add additional Boat Upgrades to the web site, update a photo album or description. etc..

There are 33 upgrades there now.

Next up, I'll be redoing the boat maintenance section to dynamic pages, as well as general boat Information. I've got lots more to add to these sections as well in the coming month.

Awesome!

Thanks for taking the time to do this for our community!

Looks good, Martin.

Have you considered putting an post-upgrade update in some of these areas? Like after your Alaska trip, would you put the MPPT in the same location? Or any other upgrades you're happier with or not as happy with, post upgrade?

I did update the descriptions on the upgrade sections to be more current. Like, I keep the Firefly batteries in there but did put an update in there that they didn't work out.

Great suggestion, I'll expand on that and do that with more of the upgrades.

Also note, Lemon Drop was a mostly factory stock 2019 RT27-OB that went to SE Alaska with me. So technically, one doesn't need the "Channel Surfing" edition to make the trek.

Very nice web site and well taken pictures of your work.

This week I completed the conversion from static to dynamic web pages for Boat Maintenance and Information on our website. It's now a lot easier for me to add content to the website.

I revised/updated what was there and added more.

I've got 115,000 photos on my phone to go through now and continue adding more content to the website.

EDIT: Looks like a Feed Through Connectors. That's pretty cool.

Hey Martin,

Do you know much about this upgrade:

Specifically, what are the caps on the other side of the switch from the bus bar? Is that a way to connect through the locker dividing wall?

Thanks.

That's actually the same connectors I used to get the power from the battery through the bulkhead. Mine are just located further forward, out of sight, out of mind. 🙂

It's these connectors from Bluesea.
