Boating skills seminar tailored for ladies

At the 2018 rendezvous there was an elementary seminar presented tailored for the ladies in the group. I recall that it was very well received and the idea of expanding it and adding a second session for 2019 was floated. I don't see it on the most recent schedule. Does anyone know if the idea died or if it's a late addition?

Hi Chimo,

Olinda, who taught last year's seminar had a last minute schedule conflict and had to cancel this year. I tried every avenue I could find to get another instructor in time but was not successful.

Olinda did a great job last year and I had her scheduled for twice as much time this year but unfortunately it didn't work out. We still plan to have her or one of the women from the Power Squadron do a seminar next year.

Kevin Carlton from Roche Harbor recommended the Customs and First Aid seminars. They are both seminars that have gone over really well with the other rendezvous groups at Roche.
