Bottom paint; oil change

This post relates to my 2016 C30CB:
1) What brand and type of bottom paint is used on this boat?
2)Time to change oil- does the 435hp engine really take 5.3 gallons? or is it a misprint in the manual? As for the oil itself, is 15-40 Chevron Delo good enough or must it be a Volvo Penta product?
3) What is the best way to set up a cooling water supply when running the engine with the boat out of the water?

Please see my responses below:

1-This depends on where the boat was painted, we use Everett Yacht Service for some of our local boats and they use Seahawk AF33 https://www.seahawkpaints.com/product/af-33/
2-Yes the amount of oil you are reading is correct, they do hold and require that much. I would recommend using Volvo's oil as it does help to use their products just in case something happens. They require oil samples when there is a major engine failure even if out of warranty. Just to be safe best to use their oil.
3-You can take the top off of the sea strainer for the engine, put a garden hose in there on high psi, close the thru-hull valve and run the engine that way. I would recommend to remove the hull drain plug to allow any water overflow to escape via hull plug and also ensure you are flowing water by watching the exhaust to see water coming out.

One other thing: How to remove the (upside down) oil filters without also pouring oil all over the engine/bilge? Perhaps the filters will contain the oil?

yes they should not pour the oil out but dont hang around.

but...

put plenty of rags underneath and a bucket close to dump the filters in.
