Am just finishing up painting the bottom of my boat and thought I would pass along a few recommendations for those DIY people like me. 1. Try to pick a soft area to park the boat, gravel is not recommended. 2. Spray trailer for bees, hornets and wasps prior to positioning yourself under boat. 3. That stinging in your legs and back are from the ant pile your laying on and not a heart attack.
4. If at all possible choose a color to match the dog, it will save you paint as the dog will require two coats too. 5. It is not recommended to use the cushions from your wife's patio furniture to lay on, as she will find out even if you turn them over when replacing them. 6. Gravity is not your friend when doing this job as what ever goes up will come down on you however I don't look that bad in blackface!
Good luck and stay safe. Bob

Luckily I had a Black Lab when I did my bottom in black. She only required one coat!
