I have a 2012 29s that spent most of its previous life on a lift. I will be using the boat in both salt & fresh water.
Looking for recommendations for a bottom paint that will work for both waters. It will also be sitting on a trailer for a good part of the time.

Thanks,
Matt Murphy

Hi Matt,

At the factory we use Sea Hawk Bottom Paint (AF33).

Hi Matt,
I used Interlux Micron Extra on my sailboats before I got the RT 23. Lasted 2 seasons each time. When I got the 2018 RT 23 the dealer used Interlux Aqua. That lasted 2 seasons with great protection. Next year I will put on a new coat of the same .
Used Aqua not Aqua One (single season).. Saltwater boater.

I use Vivid Pettit ablative bottom paint. It is made for trailerable boats. It stays active even with multiple launches. I have only had the boat is fresh water, salt water end of next season. I painted the bottom 2016 still holding up well. I will freshen it up before leaving for Florida next September. Vivid is a hard surface ablative.

Let me also say that Vivid has been excellent.

We have quite a hot harbor with high growth...Micron 66 has been the best I've used.
