We have a 2014 R-27. It's been great but the other day while running in a sloppy and steep head sea we had the bow stuffed into this stuff for about 45 minutes. Today my wife noticed some of my clothes up forward were wet. We pulled all the cushions, bedding ,memory foam etc. out of the berth. I pulled up the plastic plates coving the bow thruster and things looked dry down there. I pulled off the triangle shaped monkey fur covered piece by removing the two screws at the bottom. I discovered that the anchor drain which I guess on previous models used to go to the fitting behind the external clam shell had nothing attached to it. I blew through the hose less fitting to make sure I was not seeing things. Sure enough there was a plastic fitting behind the clam shell with nothing attached to it which would have seemed to be for the anchor box drain. I tugged on the anchor locker drain hose that is coming out of the anchor locker and it disappeared underneath and seemed to be connected to something below. My guess is that the factory made the change to the anchor box drain and never stopped punching the hole for the fitting and having clamp shell. I used silicone seal to temporally seal the fitting that goes to the outside world and the clam shell. We have about 80 hours on the boat and never had we noticed the problem until we slugged it out in a nasty head sea. It might be worth pulling that panel to make sure there is a hose connected to that fitting behind the clamshell and if it's an open hole as mine was get a short piece of hose and a hose clamp it good and fold over 180 degrees and tie wrap it. Just a heads up. Going unnoticed it could create some smelly issues and mold.
