Bow thruster

So, running along in some light chop at 28 mph or so and the bow thruster kicks off sounding like a DC-9 on the go— melted the fuse, could not find any loose wires, bow thruster did not look fried, switch looked fine and checked ok with meter, I touched a jumper cable across the fuse block and turned on the power and it overheated the jumper post haste, dead short somewhere, any thoughts??

We had the bow thruster solenoid fail during sea trials last year on our 2024 R23. It failed in the run position. May be something to look at.

I guess the solenoid is at the thruster, I’ll check on that, thx

Did your thruster blow the fuse at the battery when the solenoid fail? Whatever failed on mine caused a severe over-rev and I guess that made my fuse blow
