Has anyone sprayed their brass clock and barometers after a couple of years of saltspray from the open windows? I have managed to clean off the dark salt tarnish with 220 wet and dry paper and brass polish. Wondering what to spray on now to keep the brass looking good.
 
Apply a clear sealant such as lacquer or wax to create a protective barrier on the brass surface. This prevents air and moisture from reaching the metal, reducing the chances of tarnishing.
