My beautiful wall clock is not running. Can anyone tell me how to get it working? Is it battery operated?. And how to adjust the time?

It's a lovely wall decoration at this point.

Is it possible it was installed by a prior owner? At least on my R-31, this was not standard equipment. Did it used to be?

If it’s like ours, just unscrew the three small screws on the flat brass “frame” holding it to the wall. There is a AA battery in the back that is easy to replace. To adjust the time, rotate the front brass ring holding the glass in place, adjust the hands then reverse the process to put it back on the wall. Takes about 10 minutes or less.

Mr Happy, It is most likely battery operated! If you look at the face and it says quartz it is definitely battery. To get to the battery area, most of them unscrew the face plate and the clock will come out and the batteries are in the back. Hope his keeps you on time! Bob

Mine is a Weems & Plath installed by prior owner. There’s a plastic bracket beneath the clock screwed in to the wood. Just push up to slide the clock off the bracket and replace the battery in the back of the clock. There’s a little disc to adjust the time.
