Hello Fellow Tugnuts,
Can anyone give me the bridge clearance of a 2015 Ranger Tug CB-31 with just the mast lowered. Eye balling a tape measure, I come up with a safe measurement to be approximately 12' , am I close or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for help with this.

I believe you are fine. I routinely and easily clear a 12' bridge with inches to spare.

Just be sure to remember to drop the mast. When you forget (which I did one time).....it makes an ugly sounding CRUNCHING noise followed by a loud BANG.

Let me clarify.....I am in the R29....Before taking my advice, you may want to inquire as to whether the height of the 29 and the 31 are the same.

I believe they are....but perhaps worth asking.

The Ranger Tug factory website shows the clearance to be 10' 3" with mast and bridge down. That measurement I assume is for a current model year R-31 CB but guessing has not changed. Found under specifications in build a tug. Not sure how much you need to add back in if you leave tug bridge in up position, as your post kind of alludes to, but guessing at least a couple of feet.

Thanks for the replies.
I do not want to lower the command bridge if not absolutely necessary, so I am hoping to clear a 12' bridge with just lowering the mast section? I come up with 11' 9" with mast "only" down but was hoping another tug-nutter could tell me for sure before I approach a 12' bridge and get myself into trouble, as I have been known to do!!!!
