Searchlight not working so went looking for issue. On the male side of the 4 wire connector that screws into the flush mount connector below the arch, the yellow wire has pulled out of the connector.

Is this a Jabsco part or is this something that Ranger Tug installed. What I need is a new male plug with some wire attached so that I can splice the new one in.

Any help is appreciated.

I am pretty sure the wires can be inserted and are held in place with a small set screw. Did you try dismantling the end or did you and it is corroded and beyond repair?

They can be. On my boat when a wire became detached in that connector, I found that the strain relief grommet was shot. It may have been the reason the wire pulled out.

To make a repair of a pulled out wire, the connector has to be disassembled so I decided to just replace it which gave me a new strain relief grommet.

thanks for the insight on the replacement connector. I think that is the best bet to replace
