Buddy Boat for Southwest Florida Rendezvous

We are located in West Palm Beach and are heading over to the Southwest Florida Rendezvous around February 4 or 5 and heading back around February 10. Our boat is Feisty--she is an R-25.

Anyone else going for the east coast? We would love to buddy with another Ranger heading across Lake O.

Good morning Jeeves, we are in Port St. Lucie and we are going but we haven’t decided how yet. I went last year and from the St. Lucie locks it’s a good two day run at 10-11 knots. If we decide to run across by water I will be leaving on Wednesday the 5th but if I tow I’ll leave Friday morning (yes Mike the Bimini will be safety stored inside, inside joke) Either way we are going to Cayo Costa on the 10th so we wouldn’t be leaving to start back until the 11th. I’ll email you when we decide.
