Buying BC fishing license

Hi, I know I can buy a BC fishing license online, but looking for a physical location also. Has anyone bought their non-resident fishing license in Ganges or Nanaimo??

Hi Sue,

A couple of years ago, I bought mine in Ganges - but effectively it was online - so you might as well do that from the comfort of home. Nanaimo is a much larger city and there may be places to buy it "live" - I would start at the Chandlery store that is up the hill and to the south of the Marina.

Any place that sells outdoor gear has them as well as walmart

Just got mine on line at Ganges. However the local hardware store will do it for you. The upshot is they do it on line as well and are providing use of the computer.

If you want to check out a cool store too, I second the Harbour Chandler in Nanaimo. Lots of good gear and they are flexible on pricing...
