Maybe buying a R-29S located in Seattle. Anyone have a general idea how much to transport it to Hampton Virginia?

I was hoping you might get some actual costs from others on the list.

I recommend you call the Fluid Motion office as they are transporting new boats to the East Coast all the time and would have a pretty good idea of current costs. They may also share with you some names and contact info of who they use. These would be transporters already very familiar with the Fluid Motion boats.

Thanks for the info sgeary.

If you make it to Hampton drop me a line here, we live just north of Hampton Roads on the Chesapeake.

Likely at least $10k, if you find someone who makes the run often, and you catch then with an open leg. This is based upon similar inquiry I made in 2023.

That is why I pay $114. per month to store that silly trailer. You buy my boat and we'll load it on trailer and your off with the boat and your new Diesel Pickup. 😉

Ball park figure .... $1 a pound minimum to ship long distance, $10k to ship 10k lb boat.

Brian,
I just got my used R-27 and am getting ready to dry store it in Hampton Marina. Would love to meet up with other Tug Nuts in the area.

I shipped my R-29S from Gig Harbor to the Chesapeake in Maryland. I used HG Marine Transport, who was recommended by Andy Custis at Ranger. They did an excellent job in all respects (planning, communicating, caring for boat) at a total price of $9,450. Here is their contact info.
