Does anyone know if the 6BY Sport is the same as the 6BY2-260 series? The new ECU computer boots up in "Auto Detect Mode" and identifies my 6BY2-260 as a 6BY Sport. Is there a way to block "Auto Detect" if there is a compatibility issue. The new engine interface nodule also reads my No. 2 generator tank as Tank No. 3 and the display has options for four tanks but my harness only has two tank leads. I am content to call it Tank No. 3 so not an issue. There are quite a few changes between Ladybug, Too's 2009 engine and the replacement units that I have had installed as a result of the lightning damage.
