We’re looking at purchasing a c-248 and wondering what useful modifications people have made. Looking at a 2025 or 26. Specific areas we’re trying to figure out are:
Any other tips and tricks for outfitting would be great, hoping to work over the winter to get it ready to go for speing in New England
- cabin door seems like it would rattle around in any kind of waves and maybe break. 26 changed it a bit, but still seems like there has to be a better way to firmly secure it?
- there’s a gap on the starboard side cockpit that looks like you could fit another fold down seat, maybe a table or rod holders, anyone use this space?
- ideas for where to store fishing rods when not in use.
- Dock lights or spotlights (dash has a button, but not sure where the wires go)
