C-248 modifications

We’re looking at purchasing a c-248 and wondering what useful modifications people have made. Looking at a 2025 or 26. Specific areas we’re trying to figure out are:

• cabin door seems like it would rattle around in any kind of waves and maybe break. 26 changed it a bit, but still seems like there has to be a better way to firmly secure it?
• there’s a gap on the starboard side cockpit that looks like you could fit another fold down seat, maybe a table or rod holders, anyone use this space?
• ideas for where to store fishing rods when not in use.
• Dock lights or spotlights (dash has a button, but not sure where the wires go)

Any other tips and tricks for outfitting would be great, hoping to work over the winter to get it ready to go for speing in New England

Fishing rod storage... stainless rod holders, 4 attached to awning frame on each side, in addition to the 2 built-in rod holders at stern. Not in the picture, I've added 2 more on each side of the cockpit gunnel rail for a total of 8 rod holders. Another fishing nut based in Rhode Island.

I updated the cabin speakers so far. Polk Audio Atrium 4's. Will be adding a Wet Sounds Stealth AS-8 Sunwoofer in the off-season. We love our C248-C.
