C 28 Aft Steering Station

I am a new owner of a 2014 Cutwater 28. I have not yet tried to use the aft helm station. Is there a procedure to transfer steering and engine control authority from the forward helm to the aft helm? Nothing in the manual that I could find. Thanks!

On my 2018 R29s with a Volvo.I am not sure if yours is the exact same - I only need to make sure the "Station" button on the shifter doesn't show a red lock icon. If it does just click the button. Put the shifter in neutral. Walk to the aft Helm. Press the Station button and you are now in control from the aft helm.
The steering is always live at both helms (Don't tell your friends this- don't ask me how I know).

Then the same process to put it back..... Neutral and push the Station button.

Note- On mine, if the aft helm is active, my engine shutoff buttons don't function. The Forward helm needs to be active to shut down the engine.

Thank you. I don’t recall seeing a station button, but hopefully it is there. Next time I go to the boat I will look and try this procedure. thanks again for your help.

I went to the boat yesterday and there is no STATION button at either the forward or aft Helm position. Could both positions be active for both throttle and steering, simultaneously? The next time I go out I will experiment with this.
