Just bought a beautiful 2019 C-28 from Edgewater Yachts/Pensacola. Great people...

The Port side bow docking light has some condensation under the lens, and one of the rear (tiny) LED"S is not working. (In the small crescent shaped area of the housing). So I am assuming that the condensation is affecting the circuit board.

I've written a note to ITC the maker of the lights but I'm wondering how I could replace the light, sometime in the future. This is one the side of the boat that has the anchor chain/line deck hatch but there is no opening where I might be able to gain access to the back of the light for removal. Are these lights installed in the hull before the deck is installed?

If so would there be any downsides to installing a 6" removable deck plate in the hatch area to gain access to the area where the light is located?

Thanks, Bob/Bradenton

Hello,

Congrats on the new boat!!

The cover for the light comes off and exposes the screws that hold them in place. You then can remove and replace the light. For parts you can order via email, parts@rangertugs.com. Hope this helps!!

Thanks,
