My Volvo electronic throttle control at the inside helm is very touchy when initially engaged and even from neutral to engagement. Whether in neutral, forward or reverse, if the lever gets accidentally nudged or bumped the revs jump and the boat can lurch in either forward or reverse. My question is: do you know of a friction adjustment screw inside the controller and if so, how difficult is it to remove the controller from the side mount upholstered console? I don't have the same issue on either of the other two helm stations, so my guess is that it's not a software issue, but I could be mistaken.
Thanks in advance for any insight.
