C248 Trailer Question

Hi, I originally asked this question in the general forum, and then realized I should have put it here.

I'm buying a trailer for our yet to be delivered C-248. The trailer I'm looking at is designed for a v hull and has four bunks. Do I need to worry about the positions of the bunks with respect to the hull steps? Also, I assume the bunks should come to the back of the main transom, not the back of the swim grid?

Hi there Dennis,

You are right. The bunks need to be set and adjusted for proper sizing to your hull. The trailer manufacturer/dealer will know how to do that. If they need any information, just shoot them my way. I'll send you a p.m. with more info.
