Hi,I Have questions and problems regarding bilges on the Cutwater 26

Here are the questions: What is the original equipment manufacturer for the aft bilge motor? Is there information about how to clean it? Replace it? The high water bilge switch came off. Is there an easy way to reconnect it? What is a good replacement for it? Has anyone ever replaced it?

The problem is that recently both aft and forward bilges have failed. The switches at the helm no longer light up when it they are turned on. I finally located the fuses near the power console and only one had burned out. It was replaced and still it doesn’t work. I’ve checked the connections at the helm station and all seems OK.

Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Cartridge Submersible Bilge Pumps 500-1250 GPH

"No tools needed for maintenance, no need for complete disassembly. You can now leave the pump casing attached to both the boat and the hoses." This is true but it is difficult to remove because of location. I'm posting installation manual. It should answer your questions.

Connections at the helm are good so now it's time to do the same in the bilge area. There are also fuses for the Automatic bilge pump function located in the fuse panel in the quarter birth.

Thank you! Very informative and helpful.
