I'm only a few weeks away from picking up my 2021 C28. Was hoping to get some help from the group. I will need to pass my boat/trailer through a 12-ft high door. The dealer has assured me this is do-able if I remove the radar dome (which I'm fine with). I was hoping to get some input from folks that have their hands on their actual boats though.

This will be on a factory trailer.

Overall length would be handy too.

I'm in TX and the boat is in Pensacola, hence my question to you guys. I've searched and I've also seen the factory specs. Again, just hoping to gain some input from actual owners. Thank you in advance!!!

40 ft overall on the trailer - just fits in a 40 ft building. A hair over 12 ft high on the trailer. Some variability I'm sure - you won't know about your own door till you get it home. You might be digging out the entrance slightly, or carving the header!

Appreciate that feedback pleeson. I had built this bldg to accommodate an R27 thinking that was the direction I was heading in. Been pouring through this website and the FB page trying to find specifics! Yessir, I've already been thinking through some "interesting measures" to make this thing fit. The bldg is also 40-ft length, so it's going to be a tight squeeze for sure! Kinda wishing I went a little larger now! Thanks again for your time!

Figured I'd follow up with this post in the event someone ever wants to know this in the future....

Took delivery of the C28 a few weeks ago. I had to completely remove the radar and the tower to get it in the 12-ft door. Have about 2" to spare to my solar panel. Not sure if all C28's were made with this, but the tower has a bracket that it's mounted to that has a bent up "ear" which houses one side of the hinge. I had to cut that off as that was too close for comfort. Tower can still be fixed to this bracket, just no longer has the hinge. I'm currently fabbing up a folding anchor light to have as an option in the future so I don't have to stow the tower when not in use.

Radar dome unplugs. I installed an automotive style connector for the anchor light so it's detachable. The TV antennae I just snipped off. I may investigate how to make that into a plug in style in the future, but I removed that off the tower as I didn't plan to use it anyway.

This is on a factory trailer.
