C28 HVAC Vent at Helm

Hello everyone, we have an 11”x9” teak vent across from he helm, at the feet of the passenger seat, on our 2013 C28. I’m looking for ideas to direct and control the air flow. Has anyone modified the vent or vent cover directing more of the air up, down, back, etc?

On my 2011 R29 the frame is teak but the louvers are metal and adjustable.
 
The adjustable metal vents are behind the teak vents in the C26 and C28. The vents only adjust side to side or you can close some of them to get more air in the forward berth area. The vents do not adjust up and down.
