c30 water in engine

Cutwater team. I am considering purchasing a used C 30. I have been told early on there was an issue that water backed up into the engine damaging the turbo when the boat was rapidly stopped. . I was also told this was fixed with a factory workaround under warranty.

two questions. One, is this accurate? and two, how would I know the boat I am looking at had been repaired?

As a C30 owner I'd be interested in knowing the answer, if in fact there is a problm. I'd ask that Andrew's response be posted. It wasn't brought to my attention by the dealer.
