Cabin Carpet Runner

Its trivial considering all the other things, but it would be nice to have a long carpet protecting the cabin sole. As usual there is nothing in a size that will fit short of custom - what have you guys done to resolve this - talking about a Classic 27 but prob apply to 25 too

I used 3 separate runners that filled the space nicely. Cheapies from BJ's that have held up nicely over 5 seasons.
Easy to take outside and shake out.
Previous owner had rugs too. My floors look brand new with no other special attention.

I'm some 1500 miles away from my 2016 R-27C and would like to use the indoor/outdoor carpet you identified on AMAZON to cut to fit the passage way. What is the distance of the passage way from the entry step down to the forward bulkhead? Is the 6' X 10' carpet long enough to cover the entire passage way? I'd suspect that there would be enough left over to cut a floor covering for the 'cave deck'?

We found the perfect size runner for Lady Grey, our 23'R at Walmart. By adding a small throw rug in front of the galley area, should fit a 27' nicely.

We too use Capet runners from WalMart. For the Vberth we use a carpeted floor mat. Inexpensive and we put down the non skid mat underneath it. Fits pretty darn close to perfect. We get about 18 months, toss and repeat. Floors still look new. We cruise with a black lab and dog hair comes up easy with our onboard Dyson.
