The capacity plate on my Ranger 23 shows “model Cutwater 24”.

Are the placards interchangeable?

Speaking of capacity plates, I can't locate one on a Ranger 25, 2009. Anyone know if it was there and where?

Although you may find them on some larger boats they are only requered on boats less than 20 feet in length. After that is a matter of judgement. Just remember your judgement may be different than the officer that pulls you over for a saftey check.

Thank you. Last CG Auxiliary inspection, officer just shrugged when I said I did not know if there was one on board, (translation: I had not been able to find one). He was happy to see the "no garbage should be discharged" plaque, although it is not technically required.
I have nine grandchildren, so getting a crowd is easy. Carry 14 PFDs, but don't normally need that many.
Safe cruising!

Our Capacity Plate reads, "Cocktails for Six, Dinner for Four, Sleeps Two!!"

John & Tracy W/Lone Star Ranger. Loved your Capacity Plate will be heading to the engraving shop in the near future for a update one for my boat! Thanks for the post it made my day. Bob

Loved it also. Will definitely have to make one of those. 😀 😀
