Captains seat swivel?

We have a 2014 Ranger 27... does the captain’s chair swivel. The marketing show it does, but our does not appear to move sideways at all. Is there a secret release? Thanks for the help

Our 2014 R27 helm seat does not swivel. Possible they did on earlier versions of the R27. We have never felt a need to swivel the seat.

I'm 5"11" and when sitting on the seat, I have to lean way forward to reach the wheel. Looks like I may be standing a lot when U/W.
Otherwise it is a comfortable seat.
I could remove the slide and hinge to lower it but that takes away counter top space when tilted forward.
First mate may need that space.

The original factory installed seat on my 2011 R27 had a swivel. When I replaced that seat with a tempress seat, I removed the swivel. That had the benefit of lowering the seat height by about 1.5 inches. It still tilts forward to keep the admiral and cook happy.
I tend to like to stand at the helm a lot anyway. Probably a carry over from my sailboat days.....
