Carbon Monoxide Alarms not powered

Hi all,

I have a 2018 RT 31CB. It has to CO alarms, one in the main cabin and one in the lower berth. Neither one shows any power and when pressing the test button, obviously does not sound. I could not find any breakers associated with the alarm units. How are they wired and where is there access to turn them on or off?

The CO detectors should be on all the time, should be wired to batteries the same for auto bilge pumps not switched. You may want to confirm they are wired in the harness. The CO detectors did not work on our boat. The factory neglected to wire them.
 
If the CO2 detectors appears to be wired properly, you can also try removing the cover & disconnecting & reconnecting the small set of wires that plug in to the control board. One of my CO2 detectors recently stopped working, but I got it working again after I disconnected the wires and reconnected them.
 
I think those are protected by some inline fuses that may have been removed for shipping might want to check that angle first
 
These fuses are usually removed on shipment along with the auto bilge fuses. There is a note left on the door saying what needs to be done. Look in by your battery switches and locate the fuse block that is labeled with the co detectors. This is also labeled on your fuse block diagram. I posted a recent two day walkthrough that the factory does during the factory delivery process. Make sure you read through those in the technical bulletins section and make sure you have the dealer help you understand all items along with fuse locations etc... before taking it away. A great training list to follow.

Here is the wiring schematic. Please open the fuse block layout and note the thruster fuse block. That is located by the battery switches.

Our CO detectors have an EOL (End of Life) date of 12/2018 however today we got the EOL alarm, naturally it was at 2 AM
