Care of. Teak interior of our ranger 25

Our tug is now 3 yrs old and i dont believe the previous owner did any maintenance. Actually look good but sort of faded. What is best option to preserve the beautiful wood interior

We just wipe down with teak oil each year followed by a rub with a dry cloth.

I use Pledge Restore & Shine once a year, it works great!

Varnish is your best friend.
Doesn't have to be all done at once.
A few square feet once a week will get it in the end.

Everyone will have their own preference so you are going to get a lot of answers. I like varnish outside the cabin but not inside. I used to use oil but years ago met a guy who worked on super yachts for a living. He told me that oil attracts too much dirt and pointed me toward Liquid Gold. I've been using it since and am just finishing our new 2017 R25. I do a section at a time and because the wood here has never been treated at all I brush it on as I'm leaving the boat and let it soak in for a few days. Give it a quick rub when you get back to make sure there's no excess.

As I said, everyone will have their "like". Why not try a couple of ideas in hidden areas and find yours before you do the whole thing?

We used Pledge Revitalization Oil for 5 plus years, applying one or two times per year to the unsealed interior teak. It is easy, gives the wood a nice rich look and cost effective.

we also have a R 25 and rub down the teak with extra virgin olive oil once a year. Non toxic, the dog loves it and the wood looks great. It is also not greasy or oily feeling after 24 hours.

Thanks to all of you. So many good suggestions im more confused than ever but i must say the thought of double virgin in the wheel house does hav a definite advantage (;
