Carrabelle Florida Visit in a Ranger Tug R27 Classic

Are you crossing the Gulf? I would love to know what your plans are.

Thank you

Brigette,

Here is our blog post of our Gulf Crossing:

It was an amazing experience. You really feel like you have accomplished something. We made sure we started with new fuel filters and coincidently a just completed oil change. We also checked belts and hoses in the engine compartment. Departed with full fuel and water tanks, snacks prepared so we didn't have to use the galley in route, we discussed "what if's to insure we could respond to various emergencies should they arise. We also travelled with other boaters so we could mutually support each other should the need arise. Basically we tried to practice the 6-P's. Prior Practice Prevents Piss Poor Performance. A lesson I learned from my Drill Instructor when in the service.

Just get ready and do it!

Cheers, Mike
