CB Helm seat lockdown?

The helm station seat on the command bridge of my 2025 R29 CB will slide fore and aft no problem BUT it doesnt seem to "lock" down. The backrest will flip or flop just by pushing on it. Is this normal or am I missing something? It seems as though it should be able to lock into face forward or reverse position...not just be loose. Thanks.

There is no lock to keep the seat facing forward or backward. I would start by checking the bolts that hold the seat cushions in place. They should be tight enough to keep the seat stable, but still loose enough to allow the seat to flip. It’s possible the bolts have come loose.
