I’m wondering for those Tugnuts in the Puget Sound area- what cell phone booster have you found that works well for the area, including the San Juan’s and BC? I’d appreciate any experienced recommendations. I’ve read about WeBoost, HiBoost and Orpey. Any thoughts?

i'm in the post purchase install planning phase of my peplink system. I'll report back once its operational and i've given it some use. You can find lots of opinions out cellular / wifi on here.

I was planning to get the Pepwave MAX Transit Cat-18. I still believe this is the best solution, simply a class above the rest.
However, while waiting, I got this as a temp substitution: GL-X750V2 (from Amazon). After using it for the whole 2021 season in PNW (no Canada though) I'm sticking to this little gem. It gets me 6mbps+ in highly congested Everett marina and as soon as I get out to the open, it is 25mbps+. I spent 3 weeks cruising San Juans and never had a hiccup or a connectivity problem. The only time I could not get any signal was at the Pleasant Harbor marina, however, it is a black hole and no providers available there. My wife and I can work from the boat without any problems (teams/zoom meetings and email/file uploads etc.). I'll stick to this router until it works, no booster needed.

What carrier are you using?

T-Mobile, I have 100GB plan $50.

We use the weboost, works great if you have a signal.

I ended up getting WeBoost. Hope it works well enough with Verizon. Thanks to everyone for the discussion and education!

I am having trouble with logins... the site is logging me out between pages, so sorry if you get this twice. We got the pepwave max transit duo from mobile must have and could not be more pleased. ATT, Verizon. We're working from the boat on the great loop.
