I have Garmin 7612 chart plotters. I would like to change some of the data headings which appear on the right border of the navigation screen. For example: gallons per hour, time of day, GPS speed.
Can someone walk me thru the process of changing data categories; ie, from turning on the plotter to finding the listing of categiries through substituting one for another. My goal is to customize the two plotters at the lower helm to give me about
six different data read outs on each of the plotters for a total of about twelve.
I know this is pretty basic stuff, but I try to do live by the maxim “the only dumb question is the one not asked”.
Thanks in advance. Bob

I do not have my manual in front of me, but I think you can just touch the screen on the data box you want to change and you then get a menu of what you can replace it with.

Yes, just touch and hold the block that you want to change. Very useful to scroll through and see what interests you most.

I like Oil Pressure at the top and depth at the bottom as those are my two most important items so they are easy to spot. you can customize that panel any way that you would like.
