We went to the air show today in RI. The USCG had a security zone set up off the Quonset State Airport, we were the second boat to anchor up early in the morning. The USCG had a strong presence enforcing the security zone off the airport. After we were anchored one of the patrol boats came up to us, I asked if I was OK where we anchored. The crew responded, "you are fine sir, we are just admiring your boat " they asked a few questions about the Ranger Tug. The one thing they did not say was that it was cute!!!
The Blue Angels were awesome.
 
It was a great weekend for the Air Show, today was a great day for you to anchor and watch it.

I cruised down to Dutch Harbor this morning and had it to myself, everyone else was watching the show. I should have taken a picture of the RADAR display when I went past Quonset, it was impressive!

I enjoyed watching the Blue Angels perform during my return trip.
