I am detailing our 2011 R-29 after a long winter of dry storage getting it ready for the water. I see that there is chipping of some sort of paint that details the line between the beige fiberglass and the white fiberglass on the wheelhouse. It looks like a painted line. What exactly is the product used for this and how is it applied? It appears the area will have to be taped and painted with the proper product to attain a straight line. Todd

On the newer boats they have a white vinyl tape that covers the seam between the white and the tan, it's 1/4 inch wide, not sure about the year that you have.If that is what you have you should be able to order some stripe tape from the factory or have a local auto stripper match it for you. You should also put masking tape over it if you are buffing close to it, it can be torn up pretty easily with a buffer. We have had to protect that stripe or replace them when We detail oxidized boats before we Ceramic coat them. Let me know what you figure out.
