While in Roche Harbor, we had many comments on how nice and clean our dinghy was. Most were disappointed when I told them it was only one week old. However...

We had an older, Hypalon dinghy in the Gulf of Mexico, which was weathered and a little beat up. Searching other on-line forums, I found a product that worked well for us. Fast Orange hand cleaner from Permatex. It is a waterless hand soap, no solvents, and easily rinses in fresh or salt water. As it is just hand soap, it's not expensive and can be purchased in almost any size you desire. It worked great.

Has anyone else tried this?

I've used Fast Orange on my hands after working on my truck and found it to be a little gritty. I would be concerned about scratches on any fiberglass or ABS parts, but it should work great on the sponsons. I'll give it a try.
