Subject: Clothes hanging in the 2019 R29 S/CB ?
There are times when I need to hang some of my longish clothes so they stay in unrumpled condition. On my previous R25 Classic and I believe on my R27/OB there was a place for this; the R25 had ample space for this and the R27/OB had limited space for this.
On my R29 CB there's a short length clothes hanger rod immediately behind the fwd stateroom's TV, but it does not offer sufficient vertical space for hanging longish clothing without them being folded at their ends.
I have procured a nice brass clothe hanger that has 4 rotating hooks; each one being shorter than the one above it. When not in use the 4 hooks can be rotated to lay flat on the surface the hook is attached to. That is, they do not stick out.
I've looked around in the fwd stateroom's area for a suitable spot to attach this brass hook.
1) Above the fwd stateroom's TV
2) On the door of the head room
3) On the angled teak bulkhead fwd of the head door
I'm leaning toward option 2). The only reservation for this option is that the hanging clothes may get in the way when opening and closing the head door. However, I do not see this as an insurmountable issue for dealing with.
What have others come up with for hanging longish clothing so that they do not get crumpled or creased ?
