Has any one stayed there , or have any knowledge about that marinia ? Seems to look good on line. As well has anyone towed their Ranger close to there ? Thinking we will spend some time there this winter. It is close to family, and looks like things to do there.
Thank you

Hi Mark:

Where is Coast Victoria Harbourfront Hotel and Marina located? I don't think we've been but I'd like to learn about it.

Jim

Its a great spot. Dont know anything about the management of the docks but its in an envious location .... walking distance from anything/everything. I live in Victoria so send me a PM when you are in town.

I will for sure let everyone know when we arrive this winter wherever we land as we will be looking for guidance navigating around 🙂
Jim
It is in Victoria BC in the inner harbor... With our dollar falling I don't think we will make it to Marathon this winter.. But looking forward to meeting new friends and wintering in the west 🙂

Great idea. Whatever route you take I hope you trailer Irish Mist west before the heavy snow arrives. Keep us posted as we might be interested in doing the same thing in 2017.

Anyone with American dollars can live a little better in Canada these days 🙂

We stayed at the Woldmark Vacation Club right next door to the Coast Victoria this spring. Unfortunately we did not go there on the Red Raven. We were intrigued however by the dock out front of the Worldmark and the marina out front of the Coast Victoria next door. We would be interested in any information regarding guest moorage at either of these two properties. The rooms (and view) at the Worldmark are first class.

The access to central downtown and Fisherman's Wharf is fantastic from these locations. A paved walking trail goes right in front of each property. Less than a mile to each.

When you contact them could you let us know the economics of the place? We are looking for a place for our boat this winter so might join you. Thanks, Jim

I dont remember the exact price but it was reasonable and included everything, Most up charge for electrical and live a boards. I will check with my booking analyst later .. My next challenge will be trailer storage ..

I've stayed at the Coast Hotel docks in Victoria, BC twice now and love it there. Great location, restaraunt and amenities. You have access to all their services (gym, pool) and their winter rates rivaled that if the public docks without these amenities. I highly recommend them, but have not been there for 18 months now. Last time there, they were getting a customs dock installed next to their place. That would be a great addition. Reservations would be a good idea if you know your dates, but we did not make them ahead of time. We did not trailer there, but did come over from Anacortes.

I think we will book soon for a few months. I will report back with how this goes, Thank you for all the replies. It is so nice to have the forum to bounce ideas and questions off everyone 🙂

Mark:

If you'll be cruising to Victoria from the USA you might try North Harbor Diesel in Anacortes for storage. When last in the PNW we stored our truck and trailer with them for two months. They have a several gated yards and as I recall the price was reasonable.
