Is there a way to remove the cockpit cup holder (on a R23 model), so i can check the drain hose connection? Water is leaking on starboard side, but not the other. I can't reach up from the bottom, but thought if I could pull up on the cup holder, I might be able to fix the drain hose.. thank you

I've both removed and installed cup holders. There should be a ring of adhesive underneath the horizontal lip of the holder, think two sided tape kind of sticky. I ended up using a pipe that was a tight fit to the bottom most narrow inside area of the holder, think down where the bottom of a cup would go then I levered the pipe back and forth to break the adhesive loose and gently pried the holder out. Didn't damage the holder or the fiberglass or the hole. Didn't seem like any heat was needed to get the release going but that would be plan B if there was resistance or the fiberglass began to follow prior to the adhesive letting go.

Thank you for your help. It worked!. I found there is no hose connected to any of the cup holders. They simply drain into the bilge. The port side actually drains right on top of the 120 shore connection which I will have to address right away. Will now connect a hose to the bottom drain hole on both cup holders and route them somewhere. Thanks again.
