One item on my list of planned upgrades is to increase the size of the hose and transom through-hull fittings. The deck fittings are space limited but increasing the collective drain capacity should help a bit. If it helps enough I might even put flappers back on. The jet of water that shoots up one's leg while fishing whenever a wave hits the stern is rather annoying 😉knotflying":1r436b94 said:Those cockpit drains do need improvement. I would like to see wider deeper troughs with larger and possible more drains. Removal of the grating definitely helps.
