I have a 2020 R-23. Since day 1 the cockpit lights switch plate does not sit flush to the side. How was it designed to sit flush to the side and how can it be corrected?

RangerSkip - I had the same issue with my 2020 R23. I removed the switch, cleaned the backing of excess silicone/adhesive, and applied new silicone adhesive. If the cutout isn't perfect, the switch will be loose and not sit flush

Hi RangerSkip,

Sorry you had this issue, but Craig is correct. You can remove the switch panel to clean out anything behind it that may be keeping it from being mounted flush. Good news is that it is not too difficult. Hope this helps, but let us know if you have additional questions.

Cheers,

Ralf

Thx 4 your responses. There does not appear 2 be adhesive that was used in the first place. Was there suppose to be? I thought maybe it was just suppose to be a more snug fit and be held flush that way and they made the square opening a bit to big.
