The cockpit shower on or R27 OB does not turn on, Any suggestions?

Mine gets stuck sometimes when it's in the locked position. I have to push in on it pretty hard and rotate it, then pull out on it to get it into the ON position.

I can pull it out and turn it but it does not turn on
 
Make sure the inline valves are turned on in the pipes by the hot water heater. And then I think there is a filter screen in the hand nozzle, I would try taking that off and see if water comes out of the hose.

Thanks so much, I will give it a try. New to this boat, I guess first I need to find the hot water heater🙂
 
If yours is the same as ours the hot water heater should be in the starboard side lazarette in front of the batteries. Something else to check would be to see if you have water in the transom sink, I believe that would be off if those inline valves are off.
