Has anyone replaced their cockpit table with something other than factory? Mine came delaminated (used boat) and I'm looking for affordable ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I made an inexpensive cockpit table for the C26 that I owned. It consisted of a Mastercraft® 5/4 x 24 Edge Glued Round Panel This is solid wood no laminate used.
(Actual Size 1" - 1-1/8" x 24") Purchased at Menards for 15.00+/- I then stained, sealed and varnished it.

I purchased a Garlick quick release table pedestal https://www.westmarine.com/buy/garelick ... cordNum=37 I'm using this as a photo and part number. I did not purchase at West to Pricy there!

I used 1/4 screws to fasten to the cockpit sole sealing the holes with Boat Life sealant. The floor base has a cover for it when not using the table. I found a tan cover that came close to matching the gel color of the 2016 Cutwater cockpit https://op1.0ps.us/978-550-ffffff-no-up ... 1-main.jpg

I purchased two stainless steel drink holders and used a hole saw to cut the proper size holes for the drink holders and used a coupled of small dabs of the lid seal to hold the drink holders in place .

I did some price shopping on line for all the components and the total cost of the table was around 200.00.

I am dealing with the same delaminating issue with my cockpit table. Here are some replacement options - If you want to go with a plastic top that requires no care, check out Amazon's Springfield 1670008 Table Top, or Detmar 12-1102-C Rectangular Ivory Table Top. Both are inexpensive replacements. If you want a high end table, they are also available on Amazon. I have covered my factory top with clear resin to get through the season, but will replace it with a teak top that I plan to make.

Just found another option that I am thinking of getting. It is actually a shower mat, but I don't see why it wouldn't make a nice high end table top. Check it out on Amazon - only $120 - Nordic Style Premium Teak Shower and Bath Mat Heavy-Duty and Oiled for Indoor and Outdoor Use - Non-Slip Wooden Platform for Spa, Sauna, Pool, Hot Tub - 31.4 x 19.6-Inch Flooring Decor and Protector

Thanks for the tips. I pulled the trigger for the Nordic Style Teak mat. Hopefully the mounting cup spacing will work but if not I can return them. I'll report when it arrives.

That Mat is a great option. I had the same problem on my previous 29s and found that the factory was so far behind on getting tables for themselves, exact replacement was not an option. Custom replacement was upwards of $1400.

We bought this table from Ikea, larger and stores easily. We keep ours in cave entrance on our 31CB, or if using cave in a large plastic bag tied to rear seat.

I resolved my issue in a fairly unique and inexpensive way that might be of interest: When I flipped over the table I found that the trim pieces are a little proud on the back side, allowing an insert to be fitted without having to deal with an exposed edge and no delamination on that side. After considering several alternatives I elected to go with a cork insert. For under $50 I ordered a roll of 48" wide, 3mm cork (enough for 2 screw-ups plus 3rd-times-a-charm), and some construction adhesive. I removed the female brackets for the posts and drilled holes for the other side simply by using the existing ones as a guide. I made a pattern and after one failed attempt, got the second one right and then trimmed it out with some white 4200. Coated it with exterior, mat-finish poly. Bob's Your Uncle. Now to figure out how to post the pics!

Does this work?
