Has anyone found a decent match to cover up a couple bad scratches on the 2014 31 dark green hull?
Not sure what the actual dark green was called by Ranger?

Maybe I could remove the lid to LP box and have a match made? Emailed and called Ranger but no response back.

Also a lot of blotchy white shadows in the dark green paint for a 6 year old NE boat that is covered four months a year!
I did a test area 3' x 3' this weekend using wheel and two cuts of compound all 3m and then wax and seemed to pull the green back and get rid of most the whitish clouds / shadows, we will see what the local experts says when he comes to look at boat.
Having the hull done this fall or winter with crystal finish (Cannot remember actual name) had it done on my dark blue 2004 CC Roamer in 2018 and it was amazing, not cheap... cost $1,200.00 for a 36' but well worth it of course that hull was Algrip and had been painted in 2014.

Thanks Jeff

Having similar problems with my R27 "Midnight blue" hull: scratches from poorly-maintained Marina slips.
Anyone found anything like a touchup paint available i.e. from RT? Why wouldn't the FM Factory carry such a thing?

You might want to check with Tim at Ranger parts. I called him an ordered a 1/2 pint of Gelcoat. All he needed was the year, make and HIN. I had the shipment within a week. About $35.00 with shipping. It’s a perfect match. You have to buy the hardener locally, they can’t ship it.

I did leave a msg today will let you all know ASAP

Parts at RT has it.

Minor but not-quite-buffable scratches on Midnight Blue hulls really show. Has anyone tried a Permanent Paint Marker in (close-matching Navy' or similar deep Blue -just to 'hide' the scratch until ready for repaint/touchups?

Tim at Ranger took good care of us and shipped the touch up gelcoat today thanks Tim!

I’m so glad you had the same experience I had working with Tim. He has been most responsive to all my requests.

Same experience here. In less than 36 hours from the time that I first inquired RT about obtaining color-matched gelcoat for my blue R29, Tim mixed and shipped the product, and it's here on my workbench.

That is AMAZING responsiveness!
