Hello and Thanks for the amazing forum. We have been predominantly sailors for many years, owning predominantly Pacific Seacraft boats and hanging out in the Great Northwest for the most part. Currently boat-less near Denver and chewing through the walls of my house hahah! Yes the yard looks great, but there are weeds in my Covid mind. Anyway, I was wondering if there are any Ranger Tug owners in the Denver area, as we are considering jumping in (27 or 29j. If anyone is in the area and has one sitting on a trailer and wouldn’t mind masked and gloved visitors, please let me know. We are healthy, semi-intelligent and somewhat wry. Or if you just want to chat, happy to listen. I vaguely remember some humans are very nice to talk too. I assume Ranger owners are... ;0)
 
I am in the same boat.. A Colorado ex sailor living in winter park looking for a tug. While I can not help you with your request, I have been looking and studying and perhaps we could share ideas.

Well I live in Glenwood Springs, but my boat is a CW28, and it's in NY near the St Lawrence, so no help myself. But a couple of years ago I did see a RT in the marina at Chatfield, no idea if it's still there. Might check with them.
 
We currently have an R-25 on order with a delivery date of about Sept. 1st. We plan to do the factory delivery, spend a few more days in the area, and then haul her back to Frisco where we currently have our sailboat(Cape Dory 27). Covid did delay our buying plans but we are hoping we will finally get it done. There was a Ranger 21 or 23 at Dillon last year I think, not sure if it is there this year. So, if you are patient we might be of some help.

Totally appreciate the responses. Really considering an RT 27 or 29 for towing, with Colorado as home base. So glad there are crazy people out there with the same or similar dreams and plans. Stay safe and smart everyone. xo
 
We bought a 2019 r 23 on a trailer. It is in Florida for now and will take it north in the spring and to colorado in the summer.
